What To Expect From Your Complete Smile Makeover
Dr. Oyama wants to get to know you and what you hope to achieve with your smile. What’s essential to your smile makeover? - You!
Your teeth must be in healthy condition before any cosmetic work. So we will treat any damage, decay or gum disease first.
We’ll work together to select which treatments are necessary to reach your goals for the healthy smile you always wanted.
Dental Veneers
Every smile is wonderful and beautiful! However, if you're feeling self-conscious or unhappy about the appearance of your smile, veneers are a simple solution.
Dr. Oyama can fit patients with veneers to disguise imperfections by shaping the front of a tooth or teeth and changing its color.
Tooth veneers are thin, tooth-colored shells that are attached to the front surface of teeth. They're often made from porcelain or resin-composite materials and permanently bonded to your teeth. Veneers can be used to treat a number of different cosmetic concerns, including chipped, broken, discolored, or smaller-than-average teeth.

The In-Office Teeth Whitening Procedure
Undergoing Opalescence Boost teeth whitening treatment is comfortable, safe, and easy:
Step 1: We help you find the best teeth whitening color to achieve a bright, natural appearance. Using a color guide, we will create and apply the appropriate formula of white Opalescence Boost for your teeth.
Step 2: We put a protective material for your tooth that is closest to your gums, so we don’t have to worry about you getting injured by the whitening chemicals.
Step 3: We apply the Opalescence Boost formula onto your teeth, leaving it on for 20 minutes.
Step 4: After the first application is removed, we will check your teeth to see if you have achieved the desired result. If it still needs whitening, another batch of teeth whitening powder is applied.
Step 5: Once teeth are whitened and the application of the home kit is complete, it's important to continue doing touch-ups at home for a few days so that you can maintain your new shade. We recommend ordering an additional teeth whitening kit right now so that you don't run out before your next treatment!
Dental Crowns
Sakura Dental Arts will keep your natural teeth in place as long as possible. But when advanced decay means there will be more filling than tooth structure, it puts your teeth at risk of cracks, breaks, and other issues. Crowns are a practical option.
Dr. Oyama designs your crown with a custom approach to restore the aesthetics of your smile with a strong, healthy tooth. In addition, Dr. Oyama has the technologically advanced equipment on-site to ensure that fixing your tooth with a dental crown is simple, successful and completed in one appointment.
Inlays and Onlays
What Is an Inlay?
A dental inlay is a filling for cavities on the interior of a tooth.
The procedure is relatively painless and straightforward. A local anesthetic is administered. Once the area is numb, the decay is removed. An impression of your tooth's top crevice area is made with a mold. Porcelain or composite resin material make up dental inlays. Coloring is matched to your tooth. Inlays provide almost invisible dental restoration and are usually more durable than regular fillings.
How an Inlay Differs from an Onlay or Filling
It sounds like an excellent option to repair and restore a decayed or fractured tooth, Right!
The onlay covers damage to the cusps and biting surfaces.
And a crown covers the entire tooth.
The onlay and crown procedure is similar to the inlay. A local anesthetic numbs the affected area. Any decay cleaned out or damaged tooth material removed. A mould of the tooth is made and used to create a permanent onlay.
Dr. Oyama has this technology on-site, so there will be no waiting period of a week while a lab makes the permanent inlay, onlay or crown. You will not have to come for another appointment—the restoration procedure completed on-site, same day.
